working...

Here is what we've been up to. The highlight of the current activities involves the Love Sac. They seriously love this thing. The babes line up on the couch and jump onto it- sometimes actually getting up in the air. It is huge and Ben wants me to get rid of it- but they just love it and I don't think I'm ready to part. First is Linc, then Carter jumping off,

First corndog for Linc and doesn't really know what to think. In the end they didn't really care for them which is ok since they aren't all that good for a person.

Then our Nana. She is a surrogate grandma here in OK- one of two. Tatum loves going to her which is fantastic for us. Nana walks in the door and Tatum runs to her.
Oh- and a fav pic of Tatum. She is so much daintier than the boys. She actually uses her fingers like she is supposed, where the boys still use their whole fist to eat. Then onto Carter- He was up earlier than the others from a nap so I got to take some pictures. he is so much better at playing alone. Very content.

work in progress..

So I have this amazing Husband who, after many hours of investigating and contacts, got me an amazing Camera for my birthday. It does more than I even know. I am used to the simple things in life, apparently. Once I figure out how to take some decent pictures and how to upload them... we'll be back and rolling with this blog thing. Then all those photographers out there can give me some tips/advice on picture taking and equipment!

Happy Birthday Papa!

Just have to announce my Dad's Birthday! Happy Day! I tried to pose the kids, which is totally impossible, to make a cool card. I'm not crafty at all, but this is what came out. Pretty nifty if I say so myself. He is has been a good teacher over the years and I wish we were around to learn more. Plus- I wish the kids could be around their Papa more. I think all would greatly benefit! We love our Papa! And sadly to say I don't have access to some good recent pictures of him- but here are a few favorites. Gotta Love a Papa who will let a Tatum sleep on them! Love ya Dad!

15 months

THe kids had a 15 month check-up on Monday, so I thought I'd give out the stats to those interested.
Tatum: weight- 19.15 lbs. (10%)
height- 30.7 inc (50%)

Lincoln: w-21.1 lbs (5-10%)
h- 31 in (25-50%)

Carter: w- 19.13 lbs ( under 5%. but still on the chart)
h- 29.7 inc (5%)

Yeah to the growing kids. Tatum had a couple days of vomiting the other week, so we actually thought Carter would be heavier than her- apparently not. But she sure feels like it. They are fun and moving right along and on schedule. They continue to jabber up a storm all day, wish I could understand what they want. Either way, it is a lot of fun to be around. They are doing a little better at playing with each other and me not having to be in the room- but I feel there is plenty of room for improvement. The new goal is to get Carter to eat fruits and veggies. He still fights that at every meal. Love them all. They are a blast to those who can't be with us!

Any thoughts

I am looking for any advice or tricks for easy weaning of kids off morning and before bed bottle feedings. Any suggestions, please let me know! Thanks.
